JE3 FOUNDATION MARKS TWO-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE PASSING OF LMA MEMBER JUSTIN EDINBURGH
The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation has unveiled a new website and donated three further life-saving defibrillators in honour of LMA member Justin Edinburgh, who very sadly passed away 2 years ago today following a cardiac arrest.
The JE3 Foundation, which was founded just weeks after Justin’s passing, has already donated 9 defibrillators within the past year, including today’s donations to Southend United, AFC Rushden and Diamonds, and Mavericks RFC.
Visit www.je3foundation.com to learn more about Justin’s story and to engage with JE3’s commitment to further defibrillator donations. You can also find more detail on the foundation’s work to promote CPR training and the campaign for Justin’s Law, a legislative change mandating the installation of Automated External Defibrillators in all health and sports facilities in the UK.
JE3 Foundation CEO, Justin’s son Charlie, explains that, above all, today is about lovingly remembering the impact that Justin had on the game of football and its people: “In the deepest moments of grief, it’s the stories of individuals whose lives were touched by Justin that inspire us into action so that we can continue his legacy.
“Dad lived in the moment and looked to the future with unwavering optimism. This informed our decision to launch our new website and to continue donating defibrillators. We wanted to commemorate this specific day to remember the man, whilst also introducing people to the next phase of the Foundation’s work.”
