Rob Edwards was most recently the manager of Tranmere Rovers.

Former Welsh international Edwards was previously assistant manager at Exeter City to Paul Tisdale, where he played a key role as the club won successive promotions from the Conference to League One.

He was later instrumental in helping Exeter post a club best 8th place finish in League One in 2011 - just one point outside the play-off places.

Edwards also managed the club's development squad during his time with The Grecians.

As a player, Edwards represented Carlisle United, Bristol City, Preston North End, Blackpool and Exeter City.
