Davison

Bobby Davison has built a reputation as an excellent coach with a talent for building a strong rapport with his players. Bobby is a former Leeds United and Derby County legend who took up coaching upon his retirement as a player.

Davison is a highly qualified coach having earned the UEFA Pro License and has coached at all levels of the game including roles within the Premier League with Bradford City and also in Non League with Guiseley thus demonstrating his versatility to work with a wide variety of players with varying degrees of ability.

Throughout his coaching career he has always gained the respect of the players he has coached and has found the job highly rewarding especially when his young players (e.g Joe Colbeck, - Bradford City) come through the youth ranks under his guidance into the first team.

Following the Sheffield United take-over of Hungary's most successful Club, Ferencvaros in Feb 2008, Bobby was approached to take his vast array of knowledge and experience to Ferencvaros in a Director of Football role. Davison took over as Manager in April 2008. In his first full season in charge, Ferencvaros won promotion back to the Hungarian Top Flight, with such consistent form resulting in a club record 16 match winning streak. This consistency enabled the club to comfortably win the League Title by 17 points and with an astonishing 6 games still of the campaign. Bobby has since left Ferencvaros having cemented them in the Hungarian Premier League in order to return to coaching in the UK where has recently assisted Noel Blake with the England U19 side.

Although still young in Management, he has gained a lot of experience throughout his career to date.
