Match Report

A sublime hat-trick from Justin Kluivert paved the way for AFC Bournemouth to record an incredible 4-1 victory at Newcastle United.

The flying Dutchman netted twice in the first half at St James’ Park to put Andoni Iraola’s side ahead at the break, his goals coming either side of Bruno Guimaraes’s first-half header.

A sublime finish from the 25-year-old in second-half stoppage time then made the three points safe for Andoni Iraola’s side, before Milos Kerkez added a fourth late on.

The result meant the Cherries made it 10 Premier League games in a row unbeaten and moved them to sixth in the table
