The League Managers Association’s panel, comprising of LMA Chairman Martin O’Neill OBE, Jess Creighton, Les Ferdinand MBE, Sir Alex Ferguson CBE, Barry Fry, Chris Hughton, Mick McCarthy, Stuart Pearce MBE, Clare Tomlinson, Carla Ward, and Rachel Yankey OBE has determined that the Men’s Everest Performance of the Week Award should go to Gerhard Struber and Bristol City for their performance against Sheffield United on Saturday 9th August.
Gerhard Struber will receive the Everest Men’s Performance of the Week trophy.
Match Report
Gerhard Struber’s first competitive match in charge of Bristol City saw his team open the 2025/26 season with three points against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
City scored four as Scott Twine, Anis Mehmeti and Ross McCrorie found the back of the net on the opening day. Tyrese Campbell scored for the Blades but failed to overcome Gerhard Struber’s men.
