Throughout the year, the LMA produces a number of technical reports and studies on selected aspects of the game. Often in partnership with educational establishments, industry groups or commercial consultants, the LMA's technical reports aim to deliver insight into important and relevant issues in the game.

Collectively, the LMA's members have managed over 100,000 games in English professional football, a number that represents a significant body of experience and knowledge within the game. The LMA's reports look to combine high quality statistical and qualitative research with the collective views of its members, so their opinions can be represented to the game in a professional way, and so that they can contribute effectively to moving the game forward.
