The winners of the Sky Bet EFL Manager of the Month Awards for November are:

Sky Bet Championship: Daniel Farke (Norwich City)

Norwich City manager Daniel Farke has been named the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for November.

There was a time when Norwich fans chided Farke over his team’s defensive mindset, but no more.

Having set the platform, the German has now unleashed his players, taking them to the top of the Sky Bet Championship with 10 points and 12 goals from four games.

Farke said: “At the start of the season, you couldn’t predict that we’d be in this position after 20 games and the lads have been brilliant so far.

“It’s always important for everything to come toget

“We’ve scored many, many goals in recent weeks but didn’t forget to do our basic work.”her in football and at the moment, we’re finding a good balance between protecting our own goal and creating a lot of chances and to be effective in using them

George Burley chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel.

He said: “What a fantastic season Norwich are having -  their fans would never have dreamed they would be top of the Championship table at the end of November.

“Daniel has made them a very attacking side both at home and away. Their 12 goals were scored in three games against Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall and Swansea - an amazing achievement in such a tough league.”

Sky Sports’ EFL pundit Don Goodman said: “It’s a bit of a fairy-tale story for Daniel Farke and Norwich City as they top the Sky Bet Championship and what I love about it, is that it’s the story of a club being rewarded for being patient as a coach tries to build a team.

“That team is now functioning and whilst there’s a long way to go, the consistency of their performances makes their chances of promotion very real.

“Astute signings and academy graduates have been brought in to compliment the players Farke got to know last season and they’re full of confidence going into the crucial Christmas period.”

Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies said: “Daniel Farke’s Norwich team are the surprise package in the Championship this season. They were as big as 33/1 for the title before the season started but are now into 3/1 and are 10/11 for promotion.”

Sky Bet League One: Lee Bowyer (Charlton Athletic)

Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer has been named the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for November.

It was a perfect month for Charlton and for Bowyer who led his side into the Play-Off positions with four wins from four games.

He has built a team with a solid defensive foundation, as evidenced by just two goals conceded in the month.

Bowyer said: "I'm over the moon. But I'm not just delighted for myself because it is something for the club as well. Everyone is involved, inclusing all the staff that nobody sees, and the fans are a part of it too. We are all in this together, the players, the fans, everybody."

“We prepare them as best as we can and that's my job, but the most important thing is the players are getting rewarded. I get the trophy but it's not just about what we do, and the fans are part of it too. We are all in this together, the players, the fans, everybody.”

George Burley chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel.

He said: “Lee is building a side that is working very hard for each other and is very difficult to beat.

“They have pushed their way up the table into a Play-Off position and will be hoping to keep their momentum going.”

Sky Sports’ EFL pundit Don Goodman said: “It’s always wonderful to see a former player, adored by the fans, making a success of the manager’s job, and in South East London, both Bowyer and Neil Harris at Millwall are giving their fans plenty to be proud of.

“The fans still remember him as the schoolboy who made his name at the Valley in the 90s before getting his move to Leeds and there is a perfect symmetry to his managerial career starting in such a positive manner at the same club.

“What’s even more remarkable is that he’s doing so well despite the difficult ‘off the field’ problems caused by the lack of unity between owner and fans.”

Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies said: “Lee Bowyer’s Charlton side have largely gone under the radar and now sit in the Play-Off places after four straight wins in the month of November.

“The Addicks are a 25/1 shot for the title but a more realistic ambition will be promotion which we currently have them priced up for at 4/1.”

Sky Bet League Two: Ryan Lowe (Bury)

Bury manager Ryan Lowe has been named the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month for November.

Dejected over his failure to keep Bury up as caretaker last season, Lowe is showing the club were right to trust him with the post.

He has built a side full of attacking intent - his payback was 14 goals and 10 points from four games.

George Burley chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel.

He said: “Bury showed great faith in Ryan after relegation last season when they appointed him on a permanent basis following a spell as caretaker.”

Sky Sports’ EFL pundit Don Goodman said: “Lowe’s Bury side are fast becoming one of the most exciting sides to watch in the whole EFL, with players throughout the team capable of entertaining the Shakers fans.

“They’ve already notched four or more goals on six separate occasions this season, with three of those coming in November league games.”

Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies said: “Ryan Lowe has done a really good job at Bury and they are well placed for a big promotion push.

“The Shakers won three and drew the other in November and are coming out really well on shot data and so we will be keeping them onside going forward.

“Sky Bet make them 11/2 for the league title and they are as short as 8/15 for promotion.”

The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
