LMA EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH UNITED SOCCER COACHES
The League Managers Association announced today an extended partnership with United Soccer Coaches. The agreement, which will last through 2019, continues the collaboration between two organizations which share a passion for developing the knowledge and experience of coaches.
As part of the mutually beneficial partnership, the LMA and United Soccer Coaches will develop and share content in conjunction with the LMA Institute of Leadership and High Performance.
Along with these online learning resources, United Soccer Coaches members will be able to receive digital editions of LMA Institute Personal Development Guides and weekly LMA Insights emails. In addition, United Soccer Coaches members will have the opportunity to subscribe to The Manager, the LMA’s quarterly magazine, at a discounted rate.
The LMA will provide guests for the United Soccer Coaches Podcast, presented by TeamSnap. United Soccer Coaches members will also now have a direct connection to LMA Ambassadors for appearances, elite level coaching, and consultation services. Likewise, LMA members will be eligible to attend United Soccer Coaches courses and the association’s annual Convention.
United Soccer Coaches and the League Managers Association first partnered in 2012. Through the partnership, Northern Ireland national team coach Michael O’Neill, former England Women’s head coach Hope Powell and Premier League coaches Steve Clarke, Avram Grant and Stuart Pearce have presented at past Conventions. United Soccer Coaches members have also received discounts on two LMA e-learning courses and LMA guides are currently available in the Online Resource Library at UnitedSoccerCoaches.org.
Most recently, the LMA hosted a five-day residential course at St. George’s Park last year for United Soccer Coaches members to learn from Alan Pardew, Sean Dyche, Mick Phelan, Gary Rowett and Howard Wilkinson among others.
