Steve Kean is the new coach of Brunei DPMM in the Singapore S.League.
He was previously the manager of Blackburn Rovers. Following the appointment, Steve entered his first position in professional football management.
Kean was initially installed as caretaker with Rovers, following the departure of Sam Allardyce. It was then confirmed by the club that he would serve as manager, as he signed a long term contract and went onto secure Blackburn's Barclays Premier League status in the 2010/11 season.
He had been at Ewood Park since August 2009 when he was First Team Coach and remained at the club until September 2012.
Prior to Blackburn, Kean had previously worked at Reading, Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry City.
In 2014, Kean won the Singapore League Cup after DPMM's 2-0 victory over Tanjong Pagar United.
