Mark Wotte has managed teams in the Netherlands, Egypt, Qatar, Romania and England.
He is currently the Performance Director of the Moroccan FA after directing the Scottish FA following a spell in charge of Ismaily in Egypt and a period in Romania with Romanian Premier League club, Universitatae Craiova.
Prior to working in Romania, Wotte also served as the manager of Southampton. He initially joined the club at the start of the 2008/09 season, with responsibility for the development of Southampton's youth squad before becoming first team manager.
Previously, Wotte ran the Dutch Olympic Under 21 side and was a technical director at Feyenoord.
Wotte, a UEFA Pro License holder, has an extensive track record of developing younger players and great experience of organising academy structures.
In 1996, he was named head coach of ADO Den Haag, where he stayed for two seasons, before becoming manager of FC Utrecht.
Wotte has also had spells at FC Den Bosch, Willem II Tilburg, the Netherlands Football Association, Feyenoord Rotterdam where he was technical director, and Ismaily SC in Egypt.
He left Ismaily SC on 16 December 2006 and returned to the Netherlands to coach RKC Waalwijk before moving to Qatar to manage Al Ahli.
During his playing career, Wotte played for FC Vlaardingen, Feyenoord Rotterdam, FC Den Haag and SVV before injury ended his playing career in 1986.
